She attended Fox College in 2009 and obtained an Associates Degree in Applied Science/ Veterinary Technology. Crystal.jpg

Crystal - Client Service Representative

Crystal started at Grace Veterinary Center in August of 2023 as a Client Service Representative. She loves working at a small practice where the clients are friendly and seem like family. She has worked in Vet Med for 25 years in a customer service capacity. Since she was little, Crystal says she knew she wanted to work with animals. When she was 23, she was lucky to get a receptionist job at a vet office in Naperville, where she met (the then receptionist) Dr. Sarah Beechler. It was there that she realized she loved not only working with pets but also with the humans that care for them. Crystal prides herself on her abilities to be empathetic to clients, while demonstrating love for their pets. In her opinion, it is the best of both worlds and Crystal considers herself lucky and hopes to continue her career for many years to come! Crystal has lived in Romeoville her entire life and currently, she has two fur-babies; a poodle mix named Phoebe and a Chiweenie named Bean, who she says is like a second child that follows her everywhere. Crystal is also the proud Mom to her human daughter Cecilie, who is 13 and an honor student.

Allison.jpg

Allison - Certified Veterinary Technician

Allison has been with the Grace Veterinary Center family since April 2022 and passed her Certified Veterinary Technician licensing test in 2023. Being raised on a farm, she was always around animals, from horses, cows, and sheep to chickens, cats, and dogs. The TVs shows that she watched growing up really inspired her to work with animals (the Crocodile Hunter, Kratt Brothers).

What she loves most about this field is knowing that she can help people’s pets feel better which gives her peace of mind. One of the hardest parts of this field is seeing neglected animals.  Knowing someone has done this breaks her heart.
Her favorite quote is “We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents”- Bob Ross.

Her hobbies include spending time with her husband and son, friends, yoga, painting, and reading. She has 3 cats: Wednesday female black DSH, Friday female gray/white Tabby, and Whiskey female brown/black Bengal. They all have green eyes, but very different personalities. She loves watching them chase each other, jumping all over the furniture, and playing with the laser pointer. Her favorite is when they all cuddle around her making it hard for her to move.  Her love of felines makes her as asset to our cat clientele.

Lori.jpg

Lori - Veterinary Assistant

Lori started working with Grace Veterinary Center in 2024.  Ever since she was a little girl, she had a passion to help animals in any way she could - from helping to raise puppies find their forever homes to catching a baby raccoon that was falling out of a tree. She received her Vet Med Technology degree from JJC in 2024.  Through her time in college, she became a mother to a beautiful little girl.  It was difficult being a single mother, working and going to college full time but she kept at it!  She is working towards obtaining her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license.  She loves providing care to animals in order for them to live happy and healthy lives.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends.  She has been playing the flute since 5th grade.  At home, Lori has a Lab mix and a young at heart cockatiel.  She can't wait to see what the future has in store for her as she continues her journey.
